Gokul Prabhakaran is a Master's student in Robotics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (minor in Computer Science) from National University of Singapore, Singapore. His current research interests include controls of bipedal robots, perception and SLAM.

Rui Chen

(Ray) Rui Chen is a Master’s student in Robotics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Robotics Engineering from Zhejiang University, China in 2021. His current research interests include SLAM, motion planning, multi-agent collaboration, as well as machine learning. His favorite sport is tennis and he also likes travelling.

Dongmyeong Lee

Yingwen Tan is a Master’s student in Signal & Image Processing and Machine Learning at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. ​Madhav Achar

Madhav Achar graduated with a Master’s degree in Robotics from the University of Michigan in 2020. His technical interests include working with people across all levels of the stack (perception, planning, and control) to design and implement robotic systems. He works at Quantum Signal AI as a robotics engineer.

Kaustav Chakraborty

Master's Student (2019-2020)

Worked with Bruce.

Kaustav graduated with a Master's Degree in Robotics from the University of Michigan in 2020, and a Bachelor's in Technology in Mechanical Engineering in 2018 from VIT University. His research lies in the interaction of robots and their environment to help them perceive and autonomously navigate through unstructured terrains. At the Biped Lab, he had worked on object detection and pose estimation using deep learning on LiDARs as a part of the perception team. He will be joining the University of Southern California for his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Fall 2020.
